Julie L.
Julie has been practicing yoga since after the birth of her second child in 1998. This 25 year journey has provided periods of remarkable physical connection as well as the recognition of the benefits mentally and now spiritually. Yoga has felt like a continuum that always provides what is needed exactly when it is needed. The physical practice of yoga is one that is available to everyone and she is thrilled to be able to offer this to others. More than that, the mental and spiritual philosophy of yoga has become a way of life for Julie and has guided her through many difficult times during her human experience.
She recently completed her RYT 200-hour teacher training at Yoga V. This experience was gifted to it’s students through a community approach offering a wide variety of teachers to learn and grow with. Because of this diverse education she feels prepared to bring this gift to others in our community. Julie is a nurse practitioner by training with decades of experience working with the population in different settings. This has developed a style that when coupled with yoga training results in intentional connection and vast knowledge of human anatomy and disease processes.
When off the mat Julie enjoys spending time with her aging parents, her adult children, her beautiful grandson, her 16-year-old dog and a beautiful group of friends. She plays the Ukelele and music is truly her passion. She loves a good cup of coffee and is always free to meet if ever needed to share great conversations. She also practices Barre and loves to dance.
