Our Class Styles

 

Heated Flow

This Vinyasa styled class links breath to movement as students ‘flow’ from one pose to another. Depending upon the practice and/or the instructor, the flow may be faster paced or slow and concise. Either way, students are sure to step into and through challenge on their mats.


Balance 60

End your work week with a practice derived from the yogic traditions of movement, breath and stillness. This all-levels class offers the opportunity to explore the balance within you in its full depth and dimension. Each Balance-60 minute class is designed as a holistic process of naturally achieving a certain mastery over the body and mind to allow you to explore states of wellness, joy, and bliss.

This class offering will be practiced in a "warm studio" environment.


Yoga 60

Yoga is for everyone, and all bodies. This 60 minute non-heated class guides you gently through movements that will create freedom in your body and mind. If you are wanting a yoga class that is not hot and slower pace this is the class for you. Our gentle yoga instructors are experienced and capable of modifying for your needs. Osteoporosis, hip replacements, high blood pressure, injured...etc-don't be deterred! This class is a safe place to explore without exacerbating existing issues. Movement is the best medicine-come onto your mat.


Unwind and Restore

Just as we tend to our bodies in staying strong and flexible, we must also tend to the mind. There is a time to lean into challenge and discomfort, and there is a time for deep rest. This class aims to re-center.  Some yoga postures are practiced completely supported by bolsters and blocks to allow for deep rest of the body and restoration of the mind. For many of us living in the chaos of our lives (taking care of others, work, illness, etc), coming on to our mats to receive is the best thing we can do for ourselves. Come, re-center, breathe deeply, and receive.


Deep Stretch

Come and gently flow your way into deeper stretching poses.  A little bit of yin and a little bit of yang helps you to find that perfect balance on your mat.  Ideal for students feeling particularly tight. This is a heated class.


Gentle Yoga

Yoga is for everyone. If you have injuries, osteoporosis, hip replacements, high blood pressure, etc-don’t be deterred! This class guides you gently through movement without exacerbating existing issues. Movement is the best medicine-come and flow.


Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is the art and science of yogic sleep. Yoga Nidra is an immensely powerful meditation technique designed to enhance healing and self awareness. It’s done lying down, cradled in blankets and bolsters that support your body. While the practioner rest comfortably in savasana (corpse pose) this systematic relaxation unwinds the nervous system leaving you rested and energized.


Warm Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga targets the deepest connective tissues of the body, our ligaments, bones, joints and deep fascia networks of the body.  Poses consist of passive floor poses that mainly work the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. In this Yin Yoga class, you will be yielding, allowing, and nourishing poses at a comfortable edge in the stillness of 3 to 5 minutes holds. By holding poses for longer periods of time you are able to stretch and lengthen your connective tissues and cultivate an inner awareness of sensation of the body through breath, meditation & stillness. Yin yoga increases circulation, improves flexibility, calms & balances the mind and body, reduces stress & anxiety, releases fascia and encourages deeper relaxation. This is great practice if you are feeling stuck, stiff, and just need to let go of the busyness of everyday life.

This Class will be held in the Tapas Studio. 

The temperature for this class will be set at 95 degrees.
