Sparky M.

Sparky Moir, E-RYT 500 has been a life-long practitioner of Hatha Yoga and completed her 500-Hour teaching certification at the Mount Madonna Center in March, 2012. She has taught at the Mount Madonna Center's 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program and has offered classes and workshops in the Grand Valley community since receiving her 200-Hour certification in 2010.

Sparky races as a professional mountain biker and has a background in classical ballet. She brings that extensive knowledge of the human body to each practice she leads, with a focus on unlocking human potential through physical alignment, breath and mindset.

Sparky's love of yoga shines through in her compassionate, fun, and spiritually based teaching. She believes that the physical practice of yoga is just one stepping stone on the yogic pathway and she encourages her students to explore what yoga means to them beyond the mat. Interwoven with words of yogic philosophy and set to creative music, her classes revitalize and strengthen the physical self, while helping students find balance in their lives and a sense of inner peace.

When Sparky's not training on her bike or working as a mountain bike coach, she's usually spending time in nature, hiking with her dogs, or working in her garden. She looks forward to sharing her love of yoga with you!
