Studio Cleaning Policy
Goal: To reduce the risk of exposure of staff, instructors, and students to infectious agents in yoga V Studio
All cleaning solutions and sanitation devices used in the studio are FDA approved for their intended purpose.
Studio room floors are cleaned with disinfectant solution following each class.
Smooth surfaces in the check-in area and restrooms are cleaned with disinfectant solution following each class.
Studio bolster props are available with removable covers that are washed after each use.
Studio blocks are disinfected by staff after each use.
All smooth surfaces are cleaned with disinfectant solution each evening by studio cleaning personnel. Cleaning staff have a check list of duties to be performed and documented daily.
Multiple hand sanitation stations are available in the studio and students are encouraged to sanitize their hands as they enter and leave the studio.
Yoga V Studio has a state-of-the-art REME HALO® air purification system as part of our heating and cooling system. This system is designed to eliminate odors, particulate matter and air pollutants as well as mold, bacteria and viruses. The system creates an Advanced Oxidation Plasma consisting of Ionized hydro-peroxides, superoxide ions and hydroxide ions. All are friendly oxidizers. This results in a 99.99% reduction in surface bacteria/virus contamination. The ventilation systems in the studio are set to come on every 30 minutes to recirculate and clean the studio air. Most of the studio has been painted with Paint Shield® microbe resistant paint. Paint Shield kills 99.9% of many bacteria on surfaces within 2 hours of exposure, and continues to go bacteria for up to 4 years when the integrity of the surfaces maintained.
