What Is Calling You?
This class/workshop is for students looking for a little more personal attention in learning their asanas (physical poses). Discover: New to Yoga is for students wanting to understand the basic alignment, breath, and movement that is a part of the Vinyasa styled practice. There are also various Discover classes (Inversions, Twisting Poses, Balance poses, etc) each month as well for any practioners looking to delve deeper into various other poses. In Discover, you can expect both practice and conversation. This is the perfect opportunity to ask all the questions you as well as to go deeper into poses you may be curious about! These classes are limited to 6 students, so students must reserve their spot ahead of time.
Just as we tend to our bodies in staying strong and flexible, we must also tend to the mind. There is a time to lean into challenge and discomfort, and there is a time for deep rest. This class aims to re-center. For many of us living in the chaos of our lives (taking care of others, work, illness, etc), coming on to our mats to receive is the best thing we can do for ourselves. Come, re-center, breathe deeply, and receive.
FLOW INTO HEALING
Come and gently flow your way into deeper stretching poses. A little bit of yin and a little bit of yang helps you to find that perfect balance on your mat. Ideal for students feeling particularly tight.
Yoga is for everyone. If you have injuries, osteoporosis, hip replacements, high blood pressure, etc-don’t be deterred! This class guides you gently through movement without exacerbating existing issues. Movement is the best medicine-come and flow.
This practice includes demonstrations and more instruction. Perfect for students looking for more direction and education while still finding challenge on the mat.
This Vinyasa styled class links breath to movement as students ‘flow’ from one pose to another. Depending upon the practice and/or the instructor, the flow may be faster paced or slow and concise. Either way, students are sure to step into and through challenge on their mats.
A super fun class for our young yogis and yoginis ages 4-8. Come explore yoga through dance, song, movement, meditation, crafts, and storytelling! Parents are welcome to stay, drop-off, or to take your own yoga class right across the hall! Children under 4 are welcome with an adult.
Take part in a community of women preparing their bodies, minds and souls for the beautiful and transformative experience of motherhood and birth. These classes are meant to nurture both mamas and their babies with postures and sequences specifically for the journey of pregnancy. Prenatal Yoga has many benefits and this class fuses together birth preparation with movement, meditation and community support.
